This recipe is borrowed with love from the book Drink Your Garden by the brilliant sisters Belinda Kelly and Venise Cunningham of Simple Goodness Farm in Buckley, Washington. It is based on their Southside recipe and we use fresh blackberries picked from our yard on Orcas Island. These invasive Himalayan vines are a nuisance 11 months out of the year, but in August we reap at least some benefit!
