Honey Syrup
Honey is a very thick liquid…too thick to easily dissolve into a cocktail. We dilute fresh honey using the recipe found in the Speakeasy cocktail book written by the staff at the Employees Only bar in Manhattan. Feel free to adjust it to your won taste!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups water
- 1.5 cups honey
- 1 whole vanilla bean, scored & scraped
- Peel of one orange
Instructions
- Combine all in a saucepan over medium heat
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes
- Cool and strain
